Cleveland maintained their reputation of having the best racers in the country by
once again dominating the NDR National Championship race held in Saginaw,
Michigan the week of August 27th.
This year twelve racers from eight Cleveland families made the trek. These
racers included Dale and Bailey Markowski, James Fell, Franklin Ludwig,
Hannah Tunney, Brooke Martin, Rachael and Morgan Dyer, Kerry and Kristi
Murphy, and RJ and Megan Thornton.
This year NDR ran a single elimination race with the top 16-point earners in the
nation. Dale, Bailey, Franklin and Jimmy raced in the stock shoot-out, Morgan
competed in the super stock race and Rachael, Megan, RJ and Kristi raced in
the Masters race.
All twelve of our Cleveland racers made it into the Championship Finalist race
which began on Thursday, July 31st. The top twelve places in each division
were run on Friday. In masters, Cleveland brought home three trophies; Megan
Thornton 9th place, Kristi Murphy 7th place and Rachael Dyer 5th place.
Morgan Dyer won the Super Stock race and is the National Champion!!!!!!!!
Way to go girls. Once again, congratulations to all our racers. You make us
proud to be from Cleveland.
